Ready to befriend your body and biology to find deep health?

Amy is a Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach and Certified Safe and Sound Protocol™ Practitioner. Her approach blends strengths-based coaching with the science of self-compassion, flourishing and the mind + body connection. In addition to coaching, she offers music-based interventions that support nervous system regulation and neuroplasticity.

Amy is trained to deliver Dr. Porges’ Safe and Sound Protocol™ (SSP) to clients online. It is a non-invasive intervention based on his Polyvagal theory. During sessions, clients use an app on their phones to listen to filtered music. SSP acts as a vagal nerve stimulator. By creating a sense of safety in the body, clients are better able to regulate their own nervous systems.

Her clients are often:

  • stressed to the max
  • afraid changes won’t stick
  • overwhelmed
  • frustrated by their health
  • tired of white-knuckling it
  • desperate to stop living in fight-or-flight

Amy knows stress. Long to-do lists. Never-ending busyness. Balancing family life with demanding health needs. She’s no stranger to the cost of burnout from unbalanced living. The host of frustrating (and oftentimes misunderstood) symptoms that come with thyroid issues and environmental-related illness are realities she absolutely understands.

Love of learning is at Amy’s core. She has a Specialization in Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania. Amy first discovered the powerful connection between the mind and body during her decade in the kindergarten classroom and remains deeply curious about the interplay between our bodily experiences, thoughts and brains. She has spent the last few years writing and designing communication materials for integrative healthcare professionals.  She is an affiliate member of the International Society for Environmentally Acquired Illness (ISEAI).  Creativity fuels her own inspiration and insight. She has a deep-seated love for magenta, emerald and turquoise. Blank journals, flowing music, figurative language and mountain views make her heart sing. (Also, guacamole.)

Amy resides in the midwest with her husband and son. On the rare occasion her nose isn’t in a book, her eyes expectantly scan the skies for rainbows.
